CAT 2026 Application Form Correction Window Opens: Check Editable Details

Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Indore has made available the CAT 2026 application form correction facility today, October 5, 2026, at 10 AM. Candidates who have already registered themselves for the CAT exam and have paid the registration fee can change some particulars in their application forms.

According to the official notification, CAT 2026 is going to be held on November 29, 2026, in three slots. CAT is the major entrance test for getting admission into the MBA courses of IIMs and many other management colleges.

The application form correction facility for CAT 2026 will be available till October 5, 2026, 10 AM to October 6, 2026, 5 PM. There will not be any correction facility after the above-mentioned date. The CAT 2026 registration process was started on August 3, 2026.

CAT 2026 Important Details

Candidates who are eligible for the correction facility should complete all required changes before the October 6, 5 PM deadline. They should also review the updated details carefully before the correction window closes.

CAT 2026 Correction Window: Editable Fields

Only certain details can be changed during the CAT 2026 application correction window. Candidates who have completed their registration and paid the required fee can edit the following fields:

• Photograph
• Signature
• Test State/City Preferences

Candidates should carefully check their application form and make any required changes within the correction period. The organising institute has stated that the correction window won't be extended beyond the prescribed deadline.

CAT 2026 Exam Duration

Duration of the CAT 2026 examination is 120 minutes. Each section will be given 40 minutes to the candidates.

Candidate will not be permitted to change to the other sections while answering the ongoing section. The candidate has to answer all the questions during that period only.

CAT 2026 Exam Centre Details

The CAT 2026 exam will be held in about 170 cities. While registering for the exam, students could pick up five test cities as their preference.

An attempt will be made by the conducting authority to allocate a test center from among the candidate’s preferences. But if there is heavy demand in that area, then an allocation may happen from near any of the chosen cities.

If a test center has been allotted to the candidate, then there is no provision for making changes.

How to Make Corrections in CAT 2026 Application Form?

Following are the steps that candidates need to take in order to rectify the CAT 2026 application form:

• Go to the CAT website, www.iimcat.ac.in.
• Click on the button “Registered Candidate Login”.
• Use the User ID and password which is created during CAT 2026 registration process.
• Choose the “Edit Application Form” link present on the dashboard.
• Upload the new photograph or signature as per the specified guidelines or update the test city preferences.
• Verify all the updated details.
• Accept the declaration and then click on Submit.
• Download or save the updated application form for future reference.
