CBSE affiliated schools will conduct term 2 practical exams from today, March 2, 2022. These CBSE practical exams can be conducted continuously till 10 days before the term 2 theory paper. 

It is noted, CBSE term 2 theory exam will start on April 26, 2022. The board has ordered schools to follow COVID-19 protocols while conducting these exams to ensure safety of students.

Practical or internal exams of Class 10 regular students would be conducted by the schools. However, for practical exams of class 12 regular candidates External examiners will be assigned.

Schools are required to upload the marks of practical exams on a daily basis on the portal.

According to the official notification "The uploading of marks shall be completed by last date of the respective class. 

For private students there will be no separate practical exams. Marks will be given to such students based on a pro-rata basis that means based on the marks scored by them in theory papers.

However, those students who failed last year in the practical exams will have to appear this year in the practical examination. 

Here are the Exam Day Guidelines On CBSE 10th, 12th Term 2 Practical Exams 2022

  1. Candidates are required to adhere to the COVID-19 rules such as wearing face masks, gloves, maintaining social distance, etc during writing for the papers. Students can bring their own hand sanitizer to the exam center.
  2. In order to maintain the social distance, CBSE has suggested that a batch of 10 students, for practical exams, could be divided into two subgroups.
  3. Bring the Class 10, 12 admit cards to the exam centre.
  4. Reaching to the examination centre 30 minutes before the reporting time is advised.
  5. Electronic devices such as mobile phones, headphones, and any other electronic gadgets are not allowed in other words they are banned.
