CBSE Board Exam 2024 : Deadline Extended for Form Submission by Private Candidates - See Notice

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced an extension for the deadline regarding the submission of examination forms for private candidates in both Class 10 and 12. In accordance with the official notification, private candidates have the opportunity to complete and submit their CBSE board exam forms for the year 2024 without incurring late fees until October 18, 2023. The application process and fee payment can be conveniently performed online through the CBSE's official website at cbse.gov.in.

Furthermore, for those who may have missed the initial deadline, there is still an option to submit the CBSE exam form for 2024 by paying a late fee. Private students have a window from October 19 to October 25, 2023, to complete the form with the addition of late fees. The CBSE Board exam for 2024 is expected to take place in February, March, or April 2024 for private candidates.

CBSE Board Fees 2024

Private candidates taking the CBSE exams in classes 10th and 12th are required to submit a registration fee of Rs 1,500. Candidates from Nepal will also pay the same fee, whereas candidates appearing for the exam in other countries are subject to a fee of Rs 10,000. In the case of additional subjects, Indian candidates are charged an extra fee of Rs 300 per subject, while candidates from Nepal and other countries have to make payments of Rs 1,000 and Rs 2,000, respectively.

The fee structure for compartment exams remains consistent for additional subjects. Practical tests entail a fee of Rs 150 per subject for both Indian and Nepalese candidates, while candidates from other countries are charged Rs 350 per subject.
