Over 44 lakh students from 8,000 schools in India and abroad are expected to appear for these crucial exams. On the first day, Class 10 students will take the English (Communication) and English (Language and Literature) papers, while Class 12 students will take the Entrepreneurship paper.

CBSE Board Exams 2025: Important Instructions for Exam Day
Reach on time: Reach the exam centre at least 30-45 minutes before the reporting time to avoid last-minute rush.
Admit Card and ID Proof: Carry your admit card. It is your entry ticket to the exam hall, along with your school ID card.
Permitted Items: Carry only permitted items inside the exam hall, such as pens, pencils, erasers and transparent water bottle. Avoid bringing any electronic devices, study material or unauthorised items.
Follow the dress code: Students must wear their school uniform as it is mandatory for board exams.
Check the seating arrangement: After reaching the centre, check the seating arrangement displayed on the notice board and go to your allotted room.
Read the question paper: Use the 15-minute reading time effectively to plan your answers. Understand the paper pattern, marking scheme and time allocation.

Exam Hall Rules and Prohibited Items
To maintain the integrity of the examination process, CBSE has outlined clear guidelines regarding the items allowed and prohibited inside the exam hall:
Permitted Items:
- Admit card and school ID (for regular students) or Government-issued photo ID (for private candidates)
- Transparent pouch with essential stationery: blue or royal blue ink/ballpoint/gel pen, pencil, eraser, geometry box, scale and writing pad
- Transparent water bottle, analog watch (without calculator), metro card, bus pass and money
- Students suffering from dyscalculia can use the calculator provided by the exam centre
Prohibited Items
- Electronic devices, including mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, smartwatches and cameras
- Unauthorized study material such as textbooks, notes and flashcards
- Wallets, handbags, goggles, pouches or any similar items
- Any food or drink (except for diabetics with prior permission)

Dress Code and Exam Day Instructions
CBSE has mandated that regular students Candidates should wear their school uniform while private candidates should wear light coloured clothes. Students are advised to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time and carefully read the instructions given on the question paper before answering.
How to Do for CBSE Board Exam 2025
Double Check Admit Card: Make sure you bring the CBSE Board Exam 2025 Admit Card; entry is not allowed without it.
Stay Calm: Take deep breaths and try to relax. A calm mind will help you concentrate better to perform well in the exam.

Don’ts for CBSE Board Exam 2025
Last-minute cramming: This may lead to anxiety; instead, review short notes or key formulas.
Panic: Don’t panic if you find the question paper difficult or you are running out of time. Stay calm and focus on what you know.
Carrying prohibited items: Carrying items like mobile phones, smartwatches or electronic gadgets inside the exam hall is strictly prohibited.
Talking during the exam: Talking with classmates during the exam may lead to disqualification.
Overwriting: Write carefully to minimise overwriting or rubbing, as this can make your answers difficult to read.
Leave the exam hall early: Do not leave the exam hall before the allotted time, even if you have completed your paper. Use the remaining time to review your answers.

Get a good sleep: Make sure you get 7-8 hours of sleep the night before the exam.
