CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 1 Results: How Access To OMR Answer Sheets Will Help Students

The CBSE Board will announce the CBSE Class 10, 12 terms 1 results after scanning candidates' OMR Answer Sheet. It is noted that students can also access their OMR answer sheet Online. To provide greater transparency in the evaluation process, the board has decided to give access to OMR Sheet to the students.

CBSE Exam controller Sanyam Bhardwaj said that the dual scanning (OMR and ICR) of the answer sheet has been completed to collect the correct data of mark.

He further mentioned that the collected data will be checked for correctness before releasing the student's results of term 1. Also, to purify the data they may seek the help of the original OMR Sheet.

While informing about the evaluation process he also said, this evaluation system and exam process is generally used in competitive exams, however now class 10 and 12 board exams have come under this system.

It is noted, the entire evaluation process has been done through machines and humans too. Therefore, the result will be error-free.

Why CBSE Decided To Hold Term 1 Exams Using OMR?

For the last two years, the COVID has impacted the entire education system. The CBSE board and state boards have faced very critical situations during the last two years. Also, COVID infections seemed like never ending in the last two years, and due to which the board has to declare their results based on their newly evolved tabulation policies.

However, the division of exams into two parts will help the board to declare the result on time. Not only in announcing the result on time, but it will also be very helpful in starting the new academic session without being late.
