CBSE Class 10 Middle East Assessment Scheme: How will marks be calculated?
CBSE has announced a clear formula for calculating the marks for cancelled subjects, based on the number of examinations completed by each student:
For students who have appeared in all examinations, their results will be declared based on their actual performance. No alternative assessment is required.
For students who have appeared in 4 examinations, CBSE will calculate the marks for the cancelled subjects based on the average of the student's best 3 subjects out of those examinations.
For students who have appeared in 3 examinations, the marks for the cancelled subjects will be calculated based on the average of their best-performing 2 subjects out of the examinations they have already completed.
For students who have appeared in only 2 examinations, CBSE will use the average of those two subjects to calculate the marks for the remaining cancelled subjects.
