CBSE Class 10 Second Board Result 2026: At present, there is no CBSE Class 10 Second Board Examination Result 2026 available for download as CBSE hasn't released any updates regarding the Class 10 Second Board Examination Result 2026 so far. Till now, the board has not confirmed about the declaration of the result in terms of date and time and also the link for the CBSE 10th second board examination 2026 results is inactive at the official website.
The CBSE Class 10 Second Board Exam was conducted by the CBSE from May 15, 2026, to May 21, 2026, following the two board exam policy implemented by CBSE. As per the policy, eligible candidates have been provided with a second opportunity to score better in the same academic year. Also, compartment candidates were eligible to appear for the second board exam according to certain conditions.
More Than 6.68 Lakh Candidates Await the Result
The second board exam drew a total of 6,68,854 registrations. Here's how the numbers break down:

The CBSE will use the best of two approach for preparation of the final result. This means that in order to calculate the final result, the Board will select the higher marks among the marks that a student obtained in his/her first or second board exams.
Candidates falling in the category of compartment, or those wishing to improve their performance in up to three subjects could write the second examination. However, candidates belonging to the category of Essential Repeat were not eligible for appearing in the second board exam.
First Board Exam Recorded a 93.70 Per Cent Pass Rate
Before the second board examination, CBSE announced the results for the first board examinations of Class 10 students, with a pass percentage of 93.70 percent. Out of the total of 24,71,777 who appeared for the exam, 23,16,008 candidates passed.

Among the school categories, Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan topped the chart with a passing percentage of 99.57%, followed by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya with 99.42%. The percentages of other schools were: independent schools – 93.77%; government schools - 91.43% and government-aided schools - 91.01%.
Steps to View the Result on DigiLocker
After declaring the result, CBSE students can check their digital mark sheet on DigiLocker through these steps:
Step 1: Access results.digilocker.gov.in and login with your DigiLocker account.
Step 2: Choose the CBSE Class 10 Result once it becomes available after activation of the service by CBSE.
Step 3: Provide your board roll number, registration number and date of birth.
Step 4: Submit your credentials and check your provisional digital mark sheet.
Step 5: Download your mark sheet and retain a copy since you'll need it till the time your school issues your original certificates.
The provisional scorecard will include the student's name, roll number, class and marks of each subject, along with total marks and pass/fail status.
Once the result is announced, you can submit an online application for requesting verification of the marks, obtain copies of your evaluated answer sheets and re-evaluation of individual answer sheets. However, CBSE will not publish a merit list or issue any division in Class 10 board exams.
