The board said that schools will have to ensure that they have received adequate number of books before the commencement of practical examinations. Schools have been asked to inform students and parents about any specific requirements regarding format, schedule and practicals.

The board asked schools to ensure that their laboratories have the necessary equipment and materials available for practical examinations. "Reconfirm that laboratories or facilities are adequately set up for students to conduct their experiments," it says.

The Board directed schools to identify students with disabilities or students with special needs and make arrangements for accommodation for such students to ensure their comfortable participation in practicals. Students have been asked to appear in the practical examination as per the schedule. Schools have been asked to contact external examiners to conduct the examination on the scheduled date and time. CBSE said schools are not allowed to make alternative arrangements for examiners at their own level and the examination will be conducted only by an external invigilator appointed by the board.

Talking about marks, the Central Board has asked schools to upload practical and internal marks on daily basis. “While uploading the marks, the school, internal examiner and external examiner (as the case may be) will ensure that the correct marks are uploaded as no correction in the marks will be allowed after the marks are uploaded,” the board said.

It asked school heads to check the maximum marks given for internal assessment and then give and upload the marks. CBSE reiterated, “No change in marks is allowed after finalization and completion of the process, hence proper attention of both the examiners is required to ensure correctness of the uploaded marks.” Furthermore, CBSE said it will not consider extension of exam dates and warned schools, “If it is found that the instructions of the Board have not been complied with by the schools, the Board reserves the right to cancel the practical exams.” Keeps it safe.” ,
