The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced important information for Classes 10 and 12 students in winter-bound schools. The practical exams will be held from November 5, 2024, to December 5, 2024. These schools will close in January 2025.

👉 Official Notice

For other schools, practical exams start on January 1, 2025. The official notice states: “Practical Examinations/Projects/Internal Assessments for Classes X and XII in winter-bound schools will take place from November 5, 2024 (Tuesday), to December 5, 2024 (Thursday). Please check the attached SOPs and guidelines for conducting these assessments.”

Winter-bound schools must take the following actions:

Prepare the final list of candidates. Ensure no student not listed in the online LOC is allowed to sit for the exams.
Contact the Regional Office to arrange external examiners or observers.
Complete the practical exams on time and send the answer books to the regional offices.
