CBSE Private Candidate Form 2027 Update: Notice Released, Check Class 10, 12 Form Dates

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has released a notice regarding the CBSE Private Candidate Form 2027. The application form for the private candidate for class 10th and class 12th would be available starting 8 October 2026.

The CBSE Private Candidate Form 2027 can be submitted without any late fees until 23 October 2026. Candidates, who fail to meet the usual deadline, can apply for the form within 24 to 30 October 2026 by paying late fees.

This form is designed for those students who would appear in the CBSE Board Examinations 2027 as private candidates. It can be submitted by both the Class 10th and Class 12th students according to their eligibility requirements.

Who Can Apply for CBSE Private Candidate Form 2027?

However, it should be noted that not all students have the right to apply for private candidates. It can only be considered those students who fall into certain categories of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). These categories include the following:

• Students belonging to the category 'Essential Repeat.'
• Students belonging to the category 'Compartment.'
• Students who want to increase the marks in the examination.
• Students who did not write for the previous board examination according to CBSE regulations.

Students should make sure which category they belong to before filling out the application form.

Also, the Central Board of Secondary Education has provided some instructions related to the List of Candidates (LOC). For their own regular students, schools have to send LOCs but private candidates do not fall into school LOCs.

• Pay the appropriate application fees through online mode.
• Submit the filled up form.
• Print and keep a copy of the submitted form for future reference.
