CBSE Schools Attendance Update: Himachal Government Announces New Three-Time System

CBSE Schools Update: The Himachal Pradesh government will introduce a three-time attendance system in around 150 CBSE government schools across the state.

This new attendance system was proposed by Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu at a meeting held between the Chief Minister and the Education Department.

According to this system, attendance would be maintained thrice in a day. This would be done during the morning, at the time of lunch and while checking out.

Moreover, the Government has also planned to make different dress codes for the teachers and the students in the CBSE schools. The dress code of the teachers would be mandatory from October 1. For this, a one-time financial assistance of Rs 5,000 would be given to the teachers in order to buy the dress.

There would be a decision regarding the uniform of the students shortly, according to the State Government.

The Chief Minister informed that approximately 1,200 teachers have been recruited in CBSE schools and recruitment would also be made in future. The government is making efforts to enhance the education facilities of its students, particularly in the rural areas.

For this purpose, an additional Rs 80 crore would be given by the Himachal Pradesh government for the improvement of the CBSE schools.
