- Section Compulsion: For 2026, a major change introduced by NTA is that all questions are compulsory in GAT. Candidates need to answer 50 questions in 60 minutes only. Earlier it was mandatory to answer only 40 questions out of 50 questions.
- Section Dominance: Approximately 35-40% were from the quantitative aptitude and reasoning section, whereas the rest were from general knowledge and current affairs.
Quantitative Aptitude (QUANTS): May 29 – Shift 1
In this section, candidates have to deal with a formula-based paper that involves a little more calculation.
