Haryana Government has announced that the syllabus of Haryana Board Class 10th and Class 12th have been reduced by 30%.
As per the Haryana Board president Jagbir Singh, this decision has been taken to reduce the stress or pressure from the students as all are going through the COVID-19 Pandemic. Also, the schools have been closed in the state for a long time and education has been disrupted a lot.
He further added that the syllabus has been reduced like last year. Also, For the 2021-22 academic year the syllabus has been reduced by 30 percent.
Exam Cancellation for HBSE Class 10th and 12th
This year due to COVID-19 Outbreak the Haryana Board Class 10th and Class 12th board exams have been cancelled.
The exam cancellation was taken after the demand of the students. The final decision was taken very soon after the CBSE Board Exam cancelled its board exams.
Now all the Haryana Board students who were registered for the board exams have been promoted to the next classes on the basis of alternate evaluation criteria.
Although, the Haryana Schools have been reopened after being closed for three months. But the schools have opened for only Class 9 to 12th students because of safety concerns. Attending online schools is not mandatory though. Because online classes are continuing.
