Addressing these concerns, the NTA emphasized its dedication to maintaining a fair and transparent evaluation process. The agency confirmed that candidates are provided access to their recorded answers along with the release of the provisional answer key to ensure transparency.
Through its official X (formerly Twitter) account, the NTA assured students that all submitted challenges are thoroughly reviewed. According to the official statement, "NTA takes each objection with utmost seriousness and encourages students to participate in the challenge process to clear any discrepancies."
NTA has always followed a transparent examination process, which allows candidates to view their recorded responses as soon as the provisional answer keys are released. The NTA considers every challenge to the provisional Answer Key with utmost seriousness.

The Final Results will be Based only on Verified Answer Keys
The NTA has clarified that the current answer keys are provisional and should not be used to calculate the final scores. The official results will be determined only by the final answer keys, which will be published after evaluating all objections.
Students have been cautioned against relying on speculative information or unofficial reports that may cause unnecessary anxiety. The agency recommends that candidates refer only to verified information from the official NTA website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
The final results of JEE Main 2025 Session 2 are expected to be declared on April 17, 2025, through the official website.
Discrepancies Pointed out by Students
Students, especially those from leading coaching centres, have highlighted certain discrepancies in the April 9 exam paper. According to these reports, the paper reportedly had nine wrong answers distributed across all subjects: four in Physics, three in Chemistry and two in Mathematics.
Students have requested to either remove these questions from the evaluation or give bonus marks to ensure fairness.
In a separate case, candidates have also reported that the answers selected by them were wrongly entered in the response sheet.
