NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Update: NTA Live Portal Goes Live to Stop Leak Misinformation
With less than a week to go before the NEET UG 2026 re-exam, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has launched a dedicated public grievance portal. On Monday, the agency opened the platform so aspirants and other stakeholders can report suspicious activity. This includes fake websites, false claims of question paper leaks, and people pretending to be NTA officials.
In a message to students, the agency urged candidates not to believe rumours or misinformation about the medical entrance exam. "No one, repeat, no one has access to the question paper before the exam," the NTA said. It asked candidates to report any suspicious offers or claims right away through the new platform.
The reporting portal is available at innovateindia.mygov.in/neet-ug-2026.

No one, repeat, no one has access to the question paper before the exam. If you spot a fake website, a "leaked paper" offer, or someone posing as an NTA official, report it. We've got your back.

They can complain against any such fake websites, any social media posting claiming to provide copies of the question paper and also those posing as any authority figure, among others. This would ensure protection of the examination process as the authorities would review all such information shared.
On the other hand, the Union Home Secretary, Govind Mohan, inspected the readiness of states and UTs in conducting the re-examination for NEET (UG) 2026 which has been fixed on June 21.
Mohan chaired a meeting with top government officials where he inspected the arrangements made with respect to facilitating convenience, safety, and integrity in the examination process.
The Home Secretary told officials to follow security protocols strictly. He stressed that the exam must be conducted flawlessly. The meeting included the chairman of the Railway Board, the secretaries of the Departments of School Education and Literacy, Higher Education, and Posts, and the directors general of the CRPF, CISF, BCAS, and NTA. Senior officers from the Ministries of Defence and Health and Family Welfare also attended.
States and Union Territories were asked to help candidates travel smoothly to the re-test. The Railway Board assured full support for student movement, the statement said.
The NEET (UG) 2026 exam for undergraduate medical admissions was held on May 3. It was later cancelled after allegations of irregularities came to light. Since then, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has arrested paper setters, translators, and middlemen. They're accused of passing exam material to candidates in exchange for large sums of money.
