UP NEET UG Counselling 2026 Round 1 Deadline Extended; Check Revised Date and Steps

The Directorate of Medical Education & Training, Uttar Pradesh (DMET), has rescheduled the Round 1 registration period for the UP NEET UG Counselling 2026.

As per the new calendar, eligible students will be able to complete their registrations between 11 pm on August 13 and 2 pm on August 14, 2026. The last date to make the payment of registration charges and security charges will be 5 pm on August 14.

Registrations are carried out online on the official website – upneet.gov.in. The basis of counselling will be the scores of candidates in NEET and will include allotment of seats on merit list and document verification.

Round 1 includes admission in the MBBS and BDS seats under state quota. The seats are available in medical and dental colleges and universities of Uttar Pradesh.

Following are the procedure of registration:

• Visit the official website at www.upneet.gov.in.
• Complete the form of registration.
• Submit the necessary documents and certificates.
• Make the registration fee and security amount payment.
• Submit the application form.
• Print the filled form and the payment receipt.
• Keep one copy each of these forms.

There are four rounds in the admission process, which include the stray vacancy round as well. The candidates are advised to visit the official website periodically for all the information regarding the schedule and seat allotment.

Documents Required for Verification

Have these documents prepared prior to verification process:

• Domicile certificate
• NEET hall ticket
• Caste certificate, if any
• NEET 2026 result
• 2 passport size photographs
