The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date to apply for NDA and CDS Examination (II), 2025. Earlier this date was 17 June, which has now been extended to 20 June 2025 at 11:59 pm. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of UPSC https://upsc.gov.in.

This deadline extension is an opportunity for those candidates who could not apply earlier due to some reason. NDA, NA and CDS examinations are an important medium to become an officer in the Indian Armed Forces. Apply soon.

NDA & NA (II) 2025 Exam Details

A total of 406 posts will be recruited for candidates through the NDA & NA (II) 2025 exam.

The selection will be done through a written exam followed by a Service Selection Board (SSB) interview, which will include intelligence and personality tests. General category candidates have to pay an application fee of Rs 100. However, SC, ST, women and wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs are exempted from paying the fee.

CDS (II) 2025 exam will fill 453 posts in the following institutes:

CDS (II) 2025: Educational Qualification, Age Limit and Application Fee

The educational qualification for CDS exam varies as per the post:

A graduate degree is mandatory for Indian Military Academy (IMA) and Officer Training Academy (OTA).
An engineering degree is required for Indian Naval Academy.
For Air Force Academy, candidates must have Physics and Maths at 10+2 level or a degree in engineering.

Age Limit: Age should be between 20 to 24 years for most of the posts. Candidates should be unmarried and should satisfy the date of birth criteria prescribed for the respective academy.

Application fee:

₹200 for general category candidates.
SC/ST and female candidates are given full fee exemption.

UPSC NDA, CDS 2025: How to Apply Online @upsc.gov.in

Step 1: Visit the official website of UPSC https://upsc.gov.in.

Step 2: Click on the "Online Application" link under the "Examination" tab.

Step 3: Select the NDA/NA or CDS exam link and fill the registration form.

Step 4: Upload documents, photo and signature in the prescribed format.

Step 5: Pay the fee (if applicable), submit the form and download the confirmation page.
