As lakhs of students eagerly await the Common University Entrance Test, Undergraduate (CUET UG) 2024 results, UGC Chief M Jagadesh Kumar stated that the National Testing Agency (NTA) is "working to announce the results as soon as possible."

The provisional answer key for CUET UG was released on July 7, and candidates were asked to raise objections by July 9. “After the last date for the draft key challenge, experts review the challenges and prepare the final key. It usually takes about a week or two for NTA to do all this and announce the results. However, NTA is working to announce the results as soon as possible,” he told a media report.
This year, the NTA also announced a retest for CUET UG candidates from July 15 to 19 if any grievance raised by students about the exam conduct is found valid. This announcement follows a month after the NTA faced controversies regarding the NEET UG 2024 result, which was released 10 days earlier than scheduled.

CUET UG was held between May 15 and 29 this year. Initially scheduled from May 15 to 24, the NTA postponed the May 15 exam in all Delhi centers on May 14. “It is being informed to all the concerned candidates and stakeholders that due to unavoidable reasons, the test papers (Chemistry -306, Biology – 304, English – 101, and General Test – 501) which were earlier scheduled on 15 May 2024 stand postponed for the candidates appearing in Centres across Delhi only. The examination will now be held on 29 of May 2024. The revised admit cards will be issued for candidates appearing in center across Delhi,” the NTA said in an official notice. The exam was then held on May 19.
Originally, the CUET result was scheduled to be released on June 30. However, NTA delayed the CUET UG results due to allegations of paper leaks involving NEET UG, UGC NET, and CSIR UGC NET.
