CUET UG 2024 Result Delayed: Impact on Students and What to Expect

Many students are eagerly waiting for the CUET UG 2024 results from the National Testing Agency (NTA). The agency hasn't finalized the answer key yet, which will decide the results.

Initially, NTA planned to announce the results by June 30. But due to delays linked to issues with NEET UG 2024, this schedule has been postponed. On July 7, 2024, NTA released a provisional answer key for CUET UG 2024. Candidates had until July 9 to report any mistakes they found.

What impact will these delays have on students eagerly awaiting their results?

The delay in announcing the results of CUET UG 2024 is causing a lot of worry for students. A total of 261 universities accept scores from CUET UG 2024. Because of this delay, the admission process for the new academic year is likely to be delayed too.

For instance, the University of Delhi planned to start its new academic year on August 1 and offers 71,000 seats for undergraduate courses. But now, without the CUET UG 2024 results, they might have to push back their start date.

This delay could affect other universities participating in CUET UG 2024 as well.

Students are expressing their frustration on social media platforms like X (formerly Twitter) about the delay in CUET UG 2024 results. Jatin Sharma, a user on X, tagged the education minister and asked why the results haven't been released yet. He tweeted, "Why are the CUET (UG) 2024 results being held back? Is something wrong happening? @NTA_Exams, if you can't manage it, should someone else take charge?"

Responding to a tweet from the National Testing Agency (NTA), Devraj Kumar, a CUET candidate, expressed frustration. He tagged the education minister and UGC Chairman, urging them to announce the CUET result date. Devraj stated, "NTA is a big organization; please tell us when the results will be out."

Similarly, Ajit Mahato, another CUET candidate, tweeted to the education minister about the delay in CUET UG results. He pointed out that many students might miss the chance to apply to good colleges because they missed the application deadlines.
