Given:

Length of room = l = 6 m

Breadth of room = b = 4 m

Height of room = h = 2.5 m

⇒ Total area of walls of 1 room = 2lh + 2bh = 30 + 20 = 50 m²

⇒ Total area of walls in 5 identical rooms = 5(50) = 250 m²

Now, two rooms have one square window each of side 2.5 m,

⇒ Area of the two windows = 2 × (2.5)² = 12.5 m²

⇒ Total area to be painted = 250 – 12.5 = 237.5 m²

∵ Area of 20 m² can be painted in 1 can,
