CUCET Scholarship
The CUCET Scholarship is granted based on performance in the Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test (CUCET). This scholarship policy applies to all applicants aspiring to pursue Undergraduate (UG) and Postgraduate (PG) programs at Chandigarh University, Uttar Pradesh.

Note: In order for the scholarship to be renewed, students admitted under all of the above schemes must maintain a minimum CGPA of 7.5 in the regular semester exam (year in the case of the Pharma D program) on their first attempt, without any semester or year drop (with NO "E," "F," "I," or "Not Qualified" grades); otherwise, the scholarship will be discontinued.
CUET Scholarship For UG And PG Aspirants
In addition to the current CUCET Scholarship programs, Chandigarh University (CU) has announced for the Academic Session 2025–2026 that it recognizes the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA), Government of India, for UG and PG programs and offers exclusive scholarships for merit holders of the national-level test under the following details.

Other Concession Schemes
Below are some concession schemes that are offered by the university for admission purposes.
- Old Student Concession Policy to Promote Higher Education: A scholarship equal to 10% of the annual tuition will be given to Chandigarh University students who apply for admission in Chandigarh University after earning a qualifying degree for the duration of the program.
- Single Girl Child Concession: For the duration of the study, Chandigarh University offers a 10% annual fee concession to a single girl child.
- Teacher’s Ward Concession: Wards of teachers of government or government-recognized schools, colleges, or universities are eligible for a 10% annual fee reduction from Chandigarh University for the duration of the program, as long as the teacher has at least a year of regular work. Under this plan, a maximum of 5% of total seats in each course will be made available.
- Sibling Concession: One of the siblings enrolled in any Chandigarh University faculty is eligible for a 10% annual fee reduction from the university, provided that both siblings continue their education there. Even when one sibling passes out, the concession will still be permitted.
- Concession to Girl Sibling: For the duration of the term, Chandigarh University offers both female siblings a 10% annual fee reduction. Even when one sibling passes away, the concession will be permitted to continue.
- Concession under the Armed Forces Educational Welfare Scheme for Wards/Spouses of Defence Personnel: Chandigarh University has developed a Reservation cum Fee Waiver Scheme for Defence Personnel, wards, and their spouses as a token of gratitude and greeting to our Defence Forces, who are constantly there to defend our borders and our lives. This program is also a component of the social duty to certain segments of the community.
- AFEWS is a special program that allows wards and spouses of Indian Defense Personnel from various categories to reserve places in all courses. Spouses and wards of various defense categories. Employees accepted under the aforementioned program will also receive a free semester fee.

- The spouses and wards of Defence Martyrs, as well as their close dependents, would be granted 5% of the seats in all courses at Chandigarh University.
- The following applies to all active and retired military personnel, their spouses, and their wards.
- PRIORITY IN RESERVATION: Order of priority under the scheme is as follows:
- War widows and wards of war casualties.
- War-injured and released defense personnel, spouses, and their wards.
- War disabled defense personnel, getting superannuated, spouses, and their wards.
- Wards of serving defence personnel.
- Wards of retired defence personnel.
- DETAILS OF CONCESSION: Concession will be as follows:
- 15% of the yearly fee is a concession for war widows and wards of war casualties, war-injured and released military people, spouses and their wards, war disabled military members receiving superannuation, and spouses and their wards.
- Wards and spouses of active and former military members are eligible for a discount equal to 10% of the annual fee.
- 10% of the annual fee is waived for wards and spouses of paramilitary force members.
- Officers on Study Leave: Defense officers in service who choose to enroll in the courses while on study leave will be given individual 1% seats, with a minimum of one seat required for each course. There will be a 20% semester fee concession.
- Concession for Chandigarh University Staff: Academic fees would be reduced by 50% for wards, spouses, and real brothers and sisters of only Chandigarh University employees who have worked regularly for at least a year. It will go on as long as the employee is working with Chandigarh University.
- Orphan Concession

- In the event of an orphan candidate, a 20% concession will be granted.
- For single parents, there will be a 10% concession.

Gyan Kashi Scholarship Policy
For the first 250 students admitted in 2023–2027, a five-year scholarship worth Rs. 64.56 crores is offered to Sikh Community students in Varanasi.
- Eligibility for Scholarship

- This scholarship will encourage Sikh community students of Varanasi to pursue higher education at Chandigarh University after they have completed their senior secondary education at any state or central-recognized board.
- This scholarship is available to all Sikh community students who have completed their higher education at Chandigarh University after graduating from any state or nationally recognized university.

- Criteria for availing the Scholarship mentioned in Point

- Family income cannot be more than Rs. 5,00,000 annually, and an application for admission must include a current income certificate from the local government.
- Up to 250 students will be eligible for a 50% scholarship on a first-come, first-served basis.
- The Chandigarh University policies must be followed for the scholarship to continue in the following year.
- Students must provide confirmation of identity and a current address in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
- Only academic expenses will be eligible for scholarships.
- Scholarships for students admitted in 2027 will continue till the course is finished.
C.V. Raman Scholarship For Sciences
By providing merit-based scholarships, the C.V. Raman Scholarship seeks to encourage talented young people to consider careers in scientific research. This program guarantees the development of a robust, scientifically and technologically motivated next generation.
Scholarship is worth INR 3 crores.
Objective
- Encourage students to seek professions in scientific research to highlight the value of science education.
- Inspire young people to pursue careers in research and the sciences.
Scholarship Eligibility Criteria
- 10+2 from C.B.S.E., I.C.S.E., or UPMSP is required.
- Must possess an Uttar Pradesh domicile certificate.
- Must pursue an undergraduate (B.Sc.) or graduate (M.Sc.) degree in medical or applied sciences.

Special Notes
- If the scholarship is withdrawn after a year for failing to meet the standards, and if the student continues to meet the minimal requirements in the subsequent year, the student may reapply for the scholarship, but in that scenario, they will only be eligible for half of the previously awarded scholarship in the subsequent academic year.
- Swapping scholarship schemes is prohibited.
- The student is not eligible for more than one scholarship.
- A member of the admissions team may get in touch with the scholarship department if they have any questions about a student's grade percentage.
- Before submitting a scholarship application on CUIMS, the admission counselor should verify the student's scholarship document with a signature and an E-code.
