The All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE) results for the year 2024 have been officially announced by the National Testing Agency (NTA). If you or your child appeared for this prestigious exam, it’s time to check the outcome!. The entrance exam was conducted on January 28 in the Paper-Pen mode, the results of which are now available on the exam website.

The entrance examination for admission to classes 6 and 9 at Sainik Schools was conducted on January 28, in pen-paper mode, at 450 centres located in 185 cities in India.

After the exam, answer keys, OMR sheets and recorded responses of candidates were placed on the NTA website from February 25 to 27, and objections were invited.

“Challenges received were verified by the experts, and the results were processed as per the answer keys finalised by the experts,” NTA said. The final answer key was released ahead of the results.

To get into Sainik Schools, you must score at least 25% in each subject and 40% overall on the AISSEE 2024 exam. However, your admission is also determined by how you rank in comparison to other students at your chosen school, as well as your health check-up and confirmation of all necessary documents. However, if you are a Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe, there is no minimum score requirement. Instead, you will be chosen based on how well you perform in your category in the Entrance Examination, as long as you pass the health check-up and document verification.

Step 2: On the homepage, go to 'Candidate Activity'
Step 3. Now, click on the AISSEE Result 2023 link
Step 4: A new page will open, enter your exam roll number, date of birth (DoB)
Step 5: Your result will open on the screen
Step 6: Download and take a printout of the same for future reference

About AISSEE 2024 counselling and Sainik School admission

Selected candidates have to get their eligibility criteria, self-declaration and other required documents verified during the online counselling process.

NTA clarified that it does not have any responsibility after the announcement of results – counselling, document verification, etc. and the competent authority will do it.

Admissions in Sainik Schools and New Sainik Schools will be through e-counselling and selected candidates are required to register themselves at pesa.ncog.gov.in/sainikschoolecounselling/ to move to the next stage.
