The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the registration window for the All India Sainik School Entrance Examination (AISSEE 2025) application form. Candidates who wish to make changes to the application form can do so till January 28 at exam.nta.ac.in/AISSEE/.

The extended application period for AISSEE 2025 closed on January 23 at 5 pm. The exam will be conducted offline using OMR sheets in 190 cities across India.

The full exam schedule and admit card release date will be announced later. To qualify for the AISSEE Class 6 entrance exam, candidates must be between 10 and 12 years of age as on March 31, 2025, which means their date of birth should fall between April 1, 2013, and March 31, 2015 (both dates inclusive).

Female candidates are eligible for admission to Class 6 in all Sainik Schools. Candidates for the Class 9 entrance exam should be between 13 and 15 years of age as on March 31, 2025, i.e. they should be born between April 1, 2010 and March 31, 2012.

To be eligible for the Class 9 exam, applicants must have passed Class 8 from a recognised school. The Class 6 entrance exam will have 125 questions, covering four subjects: language, mathematics, intelligence and general knowledge. The total marks for the exam will be 300. The other four sections will have 25 questions each, with each question carrying 2 marks.

AISSEE 2025 Application Correction: Steps to Modify Form

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned here to make corrections in the AISSEE application form:

First, visit the official website of AISSEE at exam.nta.ac.in/AISSEE.
On the homepage, find and click on the link for the registration correction window, which will take you to the Sainik School application correction page.
Enter the required login details, such as your registration number and date of birth. Once you log in, make the required updates and submit the corrected application form.
Finally, download and print the confirmation page for your records.
