AISSEE 2024 Age Criteria:

Class 6 Admissions: Candidates should be between 10 and 12 years as of March 31, 2024.
Class 9 Admissions: Candidates should be between 13 and 15 years as of March 31, 2024, and must have passed Class VIII from a recognized school at the time of admission. Girls' admissions to Class VI are open, subject to vacancy availability, with the same age criteria as boys.

Expansion of Sainik Schools: In addition to the existing 19 new Sainik Schools, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) has approved an additional 16 new Sainik Schools. These 35 new Sainik Schools, authorized by the MoD, will collaborate with NGOs/Private Schools/State Governments. More new Sainik Schools will be added during the All India Sainik Schools Admission Counselling (AISSAC)-2024 by the Sainik School Society.
