Assam HS Result 2025 Declared at fastresult.in for Arts, Science & Commerce; Overall Pass Percentage Falls

The Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB), formerly known as AHSEC, has declared the Higher Secondary (Class 12) results. Students can check their scores on fastresult.in using their roll number and code.

This year, over 3 lakh students registered, with more girls (1.62 lakh) than boys (1.44 lakh). The exams were conducted from Feb 13 to Mar 17, with practicals held from Jan 29 to Feb 10.

This year, in the Arts stream, the pass percentage of males is 78.42%, whereas that of females is greater at 82.95%. In the Commerce stream, males have a pass percentage of 82.08%, whereas females marginally surpass them with 82.40%.

In the Science stream, the pass percentage of males is 84.39%, whereas that of females is greater at 85.54%. In the Vocational stream, males have a pass percentage of 65.53%, whereas females have a much greater pass percentage of 74.39%. Girls outperformed boys across all streams with a pass percentage of 86.49%.

• Arts stream shows gender gap with females achieving 82.95% pass rate compared to 78.42% for males.
• In Commerce, the difference is marginal, with females slightly ahead (82.40%) of males (82.08%).
• Science stream results show that the females outshine boys by securing 85.54% while males have managed to secure 84.39%.
• The Vocational stream shows the widest gender gap, where female candidates achieved a 74.39% pass rate, significantly ahead of males at 65.53%.

Assam HS 12th Result 2025 Updates: Reevaluation and Rechecking Dates 

Candidates who wish to apply for Re-checking of their Assam HS 12th answer script 2025 and/or obtain a scanned copy of the answer script must do so through the official ASSEB, Div-II (formerly AHSEC) website:  ahsec.assam.gov.in.The application portal will be available from May 2, 2025, which is two days after the declaration of the HS Final Examination 2025 results (declared on April 30, 2025).

Assam HS 12th Result 2025 Updates: Details about Compartment Exam 

An eligible candidate can appear for the Assam HS regular examination in the year immediately following the year in which they received a Pass, Repeat, or Compartmental status, as stated in their mark sheet.

For Compartmental and Betterment categories, the candidate will be given only one opportunity to appear in the next examination.

Assam HS 12th Result 2025 Updates: What about with held results? 

Candidates whose Assam board Class 12 HS 2025 results have withheld will have to contact the Controller of Examinations to get the results declared. However, the concerned candidates will have to apply formally through the Head of the Institution.The withheld result will not be declared if the candidate does not apply within 30 days from the day of declaration of result.

Mark sheets are available online for reference, but original copies must be collected from schools. In 2024, the overall pass rate was 88.64%, up from 84.96% in 2023.
