Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) Pilani has officially released the BITSAT 2026 exam dates.

BITSAT Pilani has also announced the registration dates for BITSAT 2026. The application process for BITSAT 2026 will begin on December 15, 2025, for both Session 1 and Session 2 exams. The deadline to apply for BITSAT 2026 for both sessions is March 16, 2026.

After the application form is released, candidates can submit their BITSAT 2026 registration on the official website, admissions.bits-pilani.ac.in. The BITSAT 2026 exam dates are as follows: Session 1 will be held from April 15 to 17, 2026, and Session 2 will be held from May 24 to 26, 2026. The BITSAT 2026 exam will be conducted in two sessions.

Candidates can appear for one or both sessions, as desired. Candidates who appear for both sessions will benefit from having their best scores considered for admission.

BITSAT Exam 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates applying for the BITSAT 2026 exam, which will be held in two sessions, must know the BITSAT eligibility criteria 2026 before applying:

Candidates appearing for the 12th grade exam this year or passing the 12th grade exam in 2025 are eligible for BITSAT 2026.

Admission to B. Pharm: Candidates seeking admission to the B. Pharm program must have passed the 12th grade under the 10+2 structure from a Central Board, or its equivalent, with Physics, Mathematics or Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects, and a basic command of the English language.

Admission to Other Programs: Candidates must have passed the 12th grade under the 10+2 structure from a recognized Central or State Board, or its equivalent, with Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry (PCM).

Candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly and apply for the BITSAT 2026 exam as soon as the application window opens.

BITSAT Exam Pattern and Marking Scheme

BITSAT will continue with its well-established computer-based, adaptive testing model. The test evaluates students across five sections:

  • Physics
  • Chemistry
  • Mathematics/Biology
  • English Proficiency
  • Logical Reasoning

The question paper includes 130 core questions with an additional 12 bonus questions for candidates who finish the main sections early. The marking structure remains unchanged: +3 for every correct answer and −1 for each incorrect response, with no marks awarded for unattempted questions.
