CBSE 2026 Class 12th Exams Postponed in the Middle East Till March 16 - Check Now
Due to the Iran-Israel conflict, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) on Monday postponed Class 12 board exams in the Middle East until March 16, 2026. New exam dates have not yet been announced.
What did the CBSE Controller of Examinations say?
CBSE Controller of Examinations Sanyam Bhardwaj stated that the decision was made after a thorough review of the current situation in parts of the Middle East—Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE.
He stated that all Class 12 exams scheduled from March 12 to 16 have been postponed, taking into account the mental state of students and the prevailing uncertainties in the region.
He also stated that new dates will be announced later. The situation will be reviewed again on March 14, and a decision will be made regarding further exams.

Class 10 Exams Completely Cancelled
Earlier, on March 5, the CBSE issued a separate circular regarding Class 10 exams in the Middle East. According to this, all Class 10 exams scheduled from March 7 to 11 have been cancelled. Furthermore, previously postponed exams will also be considered cancelled.
The method of declaring Class 10 students' results will be announced separately in due course.
