Consortium of Medical, Engineering & Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) has announced the COMEDK 2026 Seat Allotment Result for Round 1.

Those students who have participated in the counseling can see their allotment status on the official website – comedk.org. The students will require either their application serial number or user ID and password.

COMEDK 2026 Round 1 Counselling Schedule

For candidates who have accepted the allotted seat, the procedure of making the payment of fees and reporting must be completed by July 31, 2026, 3 p.m.

For those who want to reject their Round 1 seat, they can do so by August 3, 2026, 3 p.m.

How to Check COMEDK 2026 Round 1 Seat Allotment

Following are some of the steps that candidates need to follow in order to find their seat allotment result in COMEDK Round 1 seat allotment:

• Go to the official website at comedk.org.
• Click on the login link available for engineering candidates.
• Enter your application sequence number and/or your user id and password.
• Click on the tab titled “Decision Making.”
• Then scroll down to the Round 1 seat allotment part.

What to Do After COMEDK Round 1 Seat Allotment

Once the allotted college and branch have been confirmed, the candidates need to choose one of the following decision-making options. These options include:

Accept and Freeze

If the candidate is happy with the allotted seat and does not wish to appear for any further counselling, then he/she may opt for this option.

Accept and Upgrade

If the candidate wishes to get the present allotted seat as well as be eligible for a better preference in the next round, then he/she may go for this option.

Reject and Upgrade

The candidate may reject the allotted seat and appear in the next round for a better preference.

Reject and Withdraw

In case the candidate doesn’t want the allotted seat and doesn’t wish to take part in the COMEDK counselling, then he/she may opt for this option.

This choice of decision-making will decide the appearance of the candidate in the next counselling round.
