The entire application process is online. Candidates need to register, fill in their personal and academic details, upload required documents, pay the application fee, and submit the form. COMEDK UGET 2026: How to Register
Follow these steps to complete your COMEDK UGET 2026 registration:
Step 1: Visit the Official Website Go to the official COMEDK portal at comedk.org.
Step 2: Enter Your Name Type your full name exactly as it appears on your SSLC/Class 10 marksheet. If you've changed your name, keep the original proof ready for the admission process.
Step 3: Enter Your Date of Birth Fill in your date of birth as mentioned on your Class 10/SSLC marksheet.
Step 4: Provide Your Email ID Enter a valid email address. All important updates and correspondence will be sent to this email.
Step 5: Enter Your Mobile Number Type your active mobile number. You'll receive an OTP on this number. Enter the OTP to verify your mobile number.
Step 6: Select Your ID Proof Choose the identity proof you'll carry in original during the exam and admission process. Pick from the options provided in the list.
Step 7: Submit Your Registration After filling in all the details, submit the registration form.
Step 8: Receive Your Login Credentials Once registration is successful, you'll get your User ID and Password on your registered email.
Step 9: Log In and Fill the Application Form Use your login credentials to access the portal and complete the COMEDK UGET 2026 application form.
COMEDK UGET 2026 Registration: Documents Required
Before filling out the COMEDK UGET 2026 application form, candidates should keep these documents ready for a smooth registration process:
- Recent passport-size photograph (in the prescribed format)
- Scanned copy of the candidate's signature
- Class 10 marksheet or certificate (for date of birth verification)
- Class 12 or equivalent academic details

COMEDK UGET 2026: Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must have passed or should be appearing for the Class 12 or equivalent examination. Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects. Chemistry or another approved subject is also required.
- General category candidates: Minimum 45% aggregate
- Reserved category candidates (Karnataka): Minimum 40% aggregate
- No domicile or age restrictions: Students from any part of India can apply
COMEDK UGET 2026: Exam Date
COMEDK usually holds its entrance exam on the second Sunday of May every year. This year, the COMEDK UGET 2026 exam will be held on May 9, 2026.
The test will be computer-based and conducted at multiple centres across the country. This allows candidates to appear at a centre closer to their home and helps reduce travel costs.
COMEDK UGET 2026: Exam Pattern
Based on previous years, the COMEDK UGET will be a three-hour exam with 180 questions. Each question carries one mark. The paper will have three sections: Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. The exam pattern differs slightly for engineering and medical courses.
What Happens After the Exam?
COMEDK UGET 2026 scores will be used for admissions to over 150 private engineering colleges in Karnataka. These colleges are affiliated with the Karnataka Unaided Private Engineering Colleges Association (KUPECA).
After the exam, COMEDK will publish the test scores and rank list. This will be followed by centralised counselling through a single-window system.
