Major changes have been made in History, Economics, Business Studies, Computer Science, and Physical Education. Some topics have been deleted, and some new ones have been added. It is essential to check the updated syllabus for proper preparation.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Date and Schedule
NTA will conduct the CUET UG 2026 exam in May 2026. The expected date is around 15 May 2026. The exam will be held in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode.
This year NTA has released the notification early. They want to give students enough time to prepare well. The official portal has been updated with all programme details and revised syllabus.

NTA has revised the CUET UG 2026 syllabus for several subjects. These changes align CUET with updated academic learning. Here's what changed in each subject.
Economics Syllabus Changes
A major addition has been made to Economics. "Indian Economic Development" is now part of the syllabus.

All Central Universities Participating in CUET 2026
There were rumours about some universities not participating in CUET 2026. NTA has clarified that all Central Universities will participate.
Delhi University, BHU, JNU, and all other Central Universities will accept CUET scores. Students don't need to worry about university participation. Check the official website regularly for the updated list.
CUET UG 2026 Application Form
The online application form for CUET UG 2026 is expected to release soon. It may come by mid-January or the last week of January 2026.
NTA is releasing forms early this year. This gives students more time to fill the form correctly. Rushed applications often get rejected due to mistakes.

NTA has issued an important advisory about Aadhaar card details. Students must update their Aadhaar information before filling the application form.
Your Aadhaar card details should match your Class 10th marksheet. Any mismatch in name, date of birth, or other details can cause problems. The application uses Aadhaar-based authentication.
