CUSAT CAT 2026: Eligibility Criteria for B.Tech

To apply for CUSAT CAT B.Tech courses, it is a necessity for the candidate to have passed the 12th standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects.

For Socially and Educationally Backward Classes (SEBC) in the state of Kerala, a candidate needs a minimum of 55% marks, with a minimum of 50% marks in Mathematics.

• Visit the official website: admissions.cusat.ac.in.
• Click on the 'New Candidate Registration' link displayed on the homepage.
• Carefully fill in all the required details.
• After registration, an activation link will be sent to your email address; click on this link to proceed.
• Your email address will serve as your 'Username'; please make sure to securely note down your password.
• Now, log in to the portal, complete the entire application form, and upload the requested documents.
• Pay the application fee and submit the form to finalize your application.

Application Fee (Registration Fee)

The fee for the CUSAT CAT entrance examination is as follows for different categories of candidates:

General Category: The fee for the CUSAT CAT entrance examination for General Category candidates is ₹1,500 for a maximum of two codes. For additional codes, a separate fee of ₹500 for each code needs to be paid.

SC/ST (Kerala): For SC/ST candidates from the state of Kerala, the fee for the CUSAT CAT entrance examination will be ₹700 for a maximum of two codes, and for additional codes, the fee will be ₹250 for each code.
