Gujarat Board HSC 12th Result 2026 Declared – Check Direct Link Here

Finally, the wait is over. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) has officially declared the HSC Class 12 results for 2026.

Students can now check their scores on the official website — gseb.org. All you need is your seat number, and you will be able to view your score.

Where to Check Your Result

The GSEB has made its results available on its official portal. Here are the websites where you can check them:

Both portals carry the same result. If one is slow due to heavy traffic, try the other one.

How to Check Gujarat Board HSC 12th Result 2026

Follow these simple steps:

  1. Go to gseb.org

  2. Look for the "HSC Result 2026" link on the homepage

  3. Click on it — a new page will open

  4. Enter your seat number

  5. Click Submit

  6. Your result will appear on the screen

  7. Download it and save a copy on your phone or laptop

That's it. The whole process takes less than two minutes.

What Your Marksheet Will Show

As soon as your result loads, you will see the following details:

  • Your Name and Seat Number
  • Marks by Subject — Theory and Practical (Separately)
  • Total Marks
  • Pass/Fail Status
  • Your Overall Percentage

Carefully check every piece of information. If anything seems incorrect—such as a spelling error in your name or a discrepancy in the figures—note it down immediately.

How many marks do you need to pass?

To pass the Gujarat Board HSC examination, you must secure a minimum of 35% marks in each subject. This rule applies separately to both the theory and practical components.

If you obtain less than 35% marks in even a single subject, you will be considered to have failed in that subject—even if your overall aggregate score is satisfactory.

Not happy with your scores? Then you can do this.

If you feel your marks don't reflect your actual performance, GSEB gives you two options.

Rechecking (Scrutiny): GSEB re-examines your answer sheet to check for any errors in totalling or unevaluated answers. They don't re-evaluate the whole paper — just verify the process.

Re-evaluation: In this, your answer sheet gets checked again more thoroughly. This option is available for select subjects.

GSEB usually opens the rechecking window within a few days of the result. Keep an eye on gseb.org for the official announcement and application link.

How to Download Your Marksheet

The marksheet you download online is a provisional marksheet. It's valid for most purposes — college admissions, document submissions, and so on.

But it's not your final marksheet. You'll need to collect the original marksheet from your school once it's distributed. Keep both copies safe.

What Comes Next — College Admissions

If you've cleared your HSC exam, the next step is college admission. Gujarat runs a centralised admission process for science, commerce, and arts streams.

The ACPC (Admission Committee for Professional Courses) handles engineering and pharmacy admissions. For other streams, admissions happen through the state's common portal.

Start shortlisting colleges now. Don't wait for the admission window to open — use this time to research courses, colleges, and eligibility criteria.
