Gujarat Schools for Classes 9 to 11 Reopening in July, Date Announced

On July 22 Thursday, A meeting was held in Gujarat State which was chaired by Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, they decided to reopen the schools for classes 9 to 11 from July 26.
Although, the decision for reopening the primary schools hasn't been taken yet.
The SOP (Standard operating procedure) will be essential to follow by the schools. This SOP is the same as one that was issued for the colleges and polytechnics. Any schools conducting offline classes will have to follow the guidelines such as 50% capacity will be allowed and all the standard procedures including regular hand sanitation, wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, etc will have to be ensured by the schools.
The state government has also directed the educational institutes to obtain prior consent from the parents of the attending students. Attendance will not be made compulsory.
Earlier the Gujarat State Board has given permission to reopen the coaching/tuition classes for class 9 to PG and competitive examinations from July 10.
It was made mandatory for all those coaching and tuition centers to follow the COVID-19 Guidelines and all staff should be vaccinated by July 31. So, the same rule is made for the reopening of classes 9 to 11.
