Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) has started the Round 1 counselling process of IISER Aptitude Test (IAT) 2025 for admission to BS-MS Dual Degree and BTech programmes from July 21 to July 26, 2025.

Candidates who have cleared the IAT 2025 exam and are included in the merit list can participate in the counselling process by visiting the official website iiseradmission.in.

IISER 2025 Counselling: Key Dates

Counselling Round 1: July 21 to July 26, 2025
Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: During this period
Counselling Registration Start Date: June 26, 2025
Result Declaration (IAT 2025): June 24, 2025

Separate merit lists will be prepared for each admission channel. Only candidates listed in the IISER 2025 Merit List will be eligible for counselling and seat allotment.

In previous years, IISER conducted up to 8 rounds of counselling based on seat availability and merit.

Steps to Complete IISER 2025 Counselling Process

Visit the official website: iiseradmission.in
Login using your registered credentials (User ID & Password)
Access the counselling dashboard
Fill in your preferred choices of IISERs and programs
Submit the choices before the deadline
Check seat allotment results when announced
Accept the allotted seat (if satisfied)
Upload required documents
Pay the admission fee
Confirm seat and report to the allotted institute as instructed
