The Indian Institutes of Science Education and Research has declared the IISER 2026 Round 1 seat allotment result. The declaration of the result was made on 24th July 2026.

The students who appeared for the IISER counseling are advised to visit the official website, iiseradmission.in, to see the allotted institute.

In order to download the IISER Round 1 seat allotment result 2026, the students have to use their application number and password to log into the website.

The candidates allotted with a seat must complete the admission procedure before the deadline. In addition to that, they must pay the IISER Seat Acceptance Fee, which is popularly known as SAF.

If the students do not accept the seat allocation or fail to pay the seat acceptance fee, then they will forfeit their seat allotment.

What to Do After IISER Round 1 Seat Allotment 2026?

For those candidates receiving the offer of admission at IISERs, there would be two choices available to them:

Accept the allotted seat.

Refuse the allotted seat.

Those accepting the allotted seat should submit the Seat Acceptance Fee via the online payment option. It needs to be done prior to the last date displayed on the IISER admission website.

Those refusing the seat or not doing anything till the last date will be considered as withdrawing their candidature.

These candidates will not be eligible for appearing in further rounds of counseling at IISERs. Hence, candidates need to be careful about this point.
