JEE Advanced AIR 1 Scores Over 10 Years: Check How Topper Marks Have Changed from Aman to Shubham
JEE Advanced is amongst the toughest entrance tests of India in the field of engineering. Every year, many candidates apply for admissions into IITs, but just a few manage to secure good positions.

What the JEE Advanced AIR 1 Scores Show
The 10-year data highlights considerable variation in AIR 1 scores. The score increased from 320 in 2016 to 355 in 2024, before falling to 332 in 2025 and 330 in 2026.
The biggest drop in score was seen between 2021 and 2022, when the AIR 1 score dropped from 348 to 314.
Furthermore, an increase in the raw score does not mean that the exam was either easier or harder. Due to changes in the maximum score and exam format, the percentile, rank and performance of candidates are better comparators than the score itself.
JEE Advanced 2026 vs Previous Years
In 2026, Shubham Kumar scored a total of 330 out of 360, earning an All India Rank (AIR) of 1. The subject-wise marks secured by him are Physics – 98, Chemistry -120, and Mathematics – 112.
The aforementioned marks are slightly below the AIR 1 marks of 2023 and 2024 but above 2022’s AIR 1 marks of 314.
It is clear from the data that the AIR 1 scores in the JEE Advanced may show large variations year on year; hence, the future aspirants must not consider the raw score of the earlier year’s topper as the benchmark.
