JEE Main 2024 Result for Session 1 Today at jeemain.nta.ac.in; More Than 12 Lakh Students are Waiting for the Results

Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2024) Session 1 Result will be declared today at jeemain.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in for Paper 1 and 2A, 2B. More than 12 lakh students who appeared in JEE Main BE, B.Tech exam and B.Arch, B.Planning will be able to download JEE Main scorecard.
National Testing Agency (NTA) conducted the JEE Main Session 1 exam from January 27 to February 1 for BE, B.Tech Paper 1, while Paper 2 was conducted in the second shift on January 24. JEE Main 2024 result is expected to be declared today evening as per the previous trends.
JEE Main Result 2024 will be calculated on the basis of the final answer key prepared by the subject experts after reviewing the challenges raised by the students. The exam results for each session will be prepared in the form of NTA Raw Score and percentage score of total Raw Score. JEE Main 2024 percentage will be calculated for each candidate in Session 1 using the formula given below.
Formula – (100 x number of candidates who appeared in the session with raw score equal to or less than the candidate) / total number of candidates who appeared in that session
NTA informed that the marks of each candidate in BE, B.Tech for Session 1 as well as Session 2 of JEE Main 2024 will be merged for compilation of results and preparation of overall merit list and JEE Main ranking. Students who have registered to apply for both the sessions should note that the best of both the NTA scores will be considered.
Results of candidates found providing incorrect information or involved in unfair practices will be canceled and will not be declared.
JEE Mains exam 2024 was conducted at around 544 centers in 291 cities including 21 cities outside India. A total of 12,25,529 appeared in both Paper 1 and 2. Out of the total, 11,70,036 appeared for BE, B.Tech paper and 55,493 appeared for B.Arch, B.Planning paper.
A total of 4,06,920 female students, 8,24,945 male and 9 transgender students registered for the exam this year. NTA recorded 95.8% attendance for B.Tech paper this year.
