The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that JEE Main will be conducted twice in 2024 - in January and April. The JEE Main January session is scheduled from January 24 to February 1, 2024, while the April session will take place between April 1 and 15, 2023.
Currently, no other information regarding JEE Main registration dates, syllabus, or exam pattern has been released.
Syllabus for JEE Main 2024
With the National Medical Commission (NMC) revising the syllabus for NEET UG, many IIT JEE aspirants are seeking clarity on the JEE Main 2024 syllabus. Registration for the JEE Main January session is expected to begin soon, along with the release of a notification carrying details on the syllabus.

The JEE Main syllabus covers topics from NCERT class 11 and 12 subjects. The total number of questions to be attempted is expected to remain the same: Physics - 25; Chemistry - 25; and Mathematics - 25. As of now, the NTA JEE Mains syllabus is yet to be released. Candidates can check the JEE Main 2024 syllabus with weightage in PDF based on the previous year.
