JEE Main Session 2 Answer Key and Response Sheet
The Provisional Answer Key, along with the recorded responses of candidates, will be released on 11 April 2026. Candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the answer key by paying a processing fee of ₹200 per question within the given time window.
This step is important because it ensures transparency and gives candidates a fair opportunity to challenge discrepancies.
What Happens After the Answer Key Is Released?
Once the provisional answer key is out on April 11, you can:
- Access your recorded responses on the official website
- Compare your answers with the provisional key
- Raise objections if you spot any discrepancies
After evaluating all objections, the NTA will publish the final answer key, which will subsequently be used to calculate the results.
JEE Main Session 2 Result — April 20
The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 result is tentatively scheduled for April 20, 2026. Along with the result, NTA will also release the final rankings, which will determine:
- Eligibility for undergraduate engineering admissions
- Qualification for JEE Advanced 2026
Your final JEE Main score will be the best of the two sessions, with normalised scores taken into consideration.
Candidates will be able to check their Answer Key, Response Sheet, and Result by visiting the official website and logging in using their application number and password. It is advised to regularly check the website for the latest updates.
