The National Testing Agency (NTA) is set to initiate the correction window for the Joint Entrance Examination - Main (JEE Main 2024) tomorrow. Eligible candidates who have completed the submission of their JEE Main session 1 application form can utilize this opportunity to make necessary edits on the official website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
To facilitate the correction process, applicants need to log in using their application number and password generated during the registration or through Digilocker, ABC ID. The window for editing the form will remain open until December 8.
Candidates are permitted to make changes to various aspects, including personal details, preferred exam cities, the number of papers they are applying for, educational qualifications, and uploaded documents. For detailed guidance, the NTA has provided answers to frequently asked questions regarding the JEE Main correction facility.
In a recent update, the testing agency has mandated applicants to upload scanned images of specific documents during the registration process. These documents include a recent photograph, signature, PwD (Persons with Disabilities) certificate, and educational qualification certificate.
For photographs, it is advised that they be in either color or black and white, with 80% of the face visible, including ears, against a white background. The applicant should not be wearing glasses, caps, or masks in the photograph. The scanned photograph should be in JPG or JPEG format, with a size ranging from 10 kb to 200 kb. Similarly, the scanned signature image should have a size between 4 kb to 30 kb, and the scanned PwD certificate should be uploaded in PDF format with a file size ranging from 50 kb to 300 kb.
Candidates are required to log in using their generated credentials and select the edit option to initiate the correction process. Stay informed and make the necessary edits within the specified timeframe to ensure a smooth application process for JEE Main 2024.
