The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main 2022) forenoon shift exam has been concluded. Over a lakh students will take JEE Main 2022 which will be conducted at different centres located in 501 cities throughout the country and 22 cities abroad. JEE Main 2022 will be held till June 29.

Once JEE Main 2022 exam concluded, candidates will share their feedback on the session-wise papers, and experts will provide in detail paper analysis. Check JEE Main morning, afternoon session paper analysis here.

JEE Main 2022 paper will have multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and numerical questions. The BE/ BTech paper will contain three sections -- Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, and will comprise 90 questions, the BArch paper, or JEE Main Paper 2A, will have three sections -- Mathematics, Aptitude Test and Drawing.

Candidates are advised to reach the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled JEE Mains exam timing 2022. Students appearing for the JEE Mains 2022 Day 1 exam must carry an IIT JEE Main hall ticket 2022 and their valid ID proof at the exam centre.

The students should strictly follow the COVID-19 guidelines, they need to carry face mask, hand sanitiser and have to follow the mandatory social distancing guidelines at the exam centre.

JEE Mains 2022: Marking scheme for paper 2

MCQs: Candidates will be given four marks for each correct answer and there will be a negative marking of one mark on each wrong answer.
Questions with numerical value answers: Students will be given four marks for each correct answer and there will be deduction of one mark for each wrong answer.
Drawing Test: Two questions are evaluated out of 100 marks

Tie Breaking Rule

Tie between candidates obtaining equal Total NTA scores in JEE Main 2022 Paper 2A: B. Arch will be resolved in the following manner:

NTA score in Mathematics, followed by
NTA score in Aptitude Test, followed by
NTA score in Drawing Test, followed by
Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the Test, followed by
Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Mathematics (Part-I) in the Test, followed by
Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Aptitude Test (Part-II) in the Test followed by
Older in Age followed by
Application Number in ascending order
