JNVST 2026 Class 9, 11 Admission: Last Date to Apply Today at navodaya.gov.in

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will close the application process for JNVST Class 9 and 11 Admission 2026 today, October 7, 2025.

Students or their parents who have not yet applied can complete the application process as soon as possible by visiting the official NVS website at navodaya.gov.in.

The exam will be held on February 7, 2026. The purpose of the exam is to admit eligible students to Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country.

🔹 Eligibility Criteria for Class 9 Admission

Only students who are bonafide residents of the respective district can apply for admission to Class 9. Candidates must have been born between May 1, 2011, and July 31, 2013 (both days inclusive).

Furthermore, candidates must be studying in a recognized school in the district from which they are applying. Detailed eligibility information is available on the official website.

🔹 Eligibility Criteria for Class 11 Admission

For admission to Class 11, candidates must be studying in Class 10 in a government or government-recognized school in the same district during the academic session 2025-26 (April 2025 to March 2026) or 2025 (January to December 2025).

Also, the candidate's date of birth must be between June 1, 2009, and July 31, 2011 (both days inclusive).

To apply for Class 9, 11 selection test candidates can follow the steps given below.

1. Visit the official website of NVS at navodaya.gov.in.

2. Click on JNVST Class 9, 11 Admission 2026 links available on the home page.

3. A new page will open where candidates will have to enter the registration details.

4. Once registration is done, fill the application form.

5. Make the payment of application fee.

6. Click on submit and download the confirmation page.

7. Keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
