Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti has extended the last date for Class 9 and Class 11 registration for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test 2026.
Students can now submit their applications until October 21, 2025. This is good news for all candidates who wish to enroll in the country's prestigious Navodaya Vidyalayas.

The JNVST 2026 exam will be held on February 7, 2026. This exam will be held simultaneously in all Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas across the country.
Registration is mandatory to appear for the exam. Without registration, no candidate will be allowed to appear for the exam. Therefore, all interested students must complete their registration before the deadline.
Steps to Apply for JNVST Class 9, 11
Step 1: First, visit the official JNVST website at navodaya.gov.in or cbseitms.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the Class 9 or Class 11 registration link on the homepage.
Step 3: Carefully read all instructions and guidelines on the new page.
Step 4: Click on the "Register" or "Apply Now" button.
Step 5: Fill in your name, date of birth, parent's name, mobile number, email address, and address in the application form.
Step 6: Enter your educational qualification information correctly.
Step 7: Upload a scanned copy of your passport-sized photo and signature.
Step 8: After filling in all the information, check the form carefully.
Step 9: Click the "Submit" button.
Step 10: Note the registration number and print out the application form.
