Who Can Apply for JNVST 2025?

Students appearing for Class 5 exams in the current academic year (2023-24) from rural areas of their district are eligible to apply for JNVST 2025, subject to specific location and category criteria:

Rural Areas: Students residing in rural areas (villages or towns with less than 10,000 population as per 2011 census) of the district.
Reservations: Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backward Classes (OBC), and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) as per Government norms.

Registration: Register with basic details like student’s name, parents’ names, and contact information.
Fill the Application Form: Complete the form carefully with accurate details.
Upload Documents: Upload scanned copies of required documents such as student’s photograph, caste certificate (if applicable), rural area certificate, and disability certificate (if applicable).
Fee Payment: Pay the nominal application fee online via debit/credit card or net banking.

Documents Required for JNVST 2025 Application

Scanned passport-size photograph of the student.

Selection Process for JNVST 2025

JNVST consists of two phases:

Phase 1 (Optional): Tentatively in November 2024. Separate admit cards will be issued.
Phase 2: Main selection test tentatively on January 18, 2025, for Phase 1 qualifiers or those not appearing in Phase 1. A separate exam for hilly areas is scheduled in April 2025.
