There is good news for students who wish to take admission in class 6 through Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025. The last date of application has now been extended.

Earlier where the last date was 29 July 2025, now students can apply till 13 August 2025. Students who have not been able to fill the form yet can register online by visiting navodaya.gov.in or cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs.

The exam will be conducted in two phases. The first phase will be on 13 December 2025 and the second phase on 11 April 2026 at 11:30 am. The result of the exam will be declared by the end of March 2026 for summer zones and by May 2026 for winter zones.

JNVST 2026 : Eligibility Criteria

The student must be studying in class 5 in the 2025-26 session.
The date of birth should be between 1 May 2014 to 31 July 2016.
The application is free and can be done only once.

JNVST 2026: Exam Pattern

The exam will have a total of 80 objective questions, which will be of 100 marks. The duration of the exam will be 2 hours. In this, questions related to mental ability, arithmetical ability and language will be asked.
