The last date to apply for Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST 2024) for admission to class 6 for the session 2026-27 is today, 29 July 2025. Eligible students or their parents can fill the online form by visiting the official website navodaya.gov.in or cbseitms.rcil.gov.in/nvs.

The exam will be conducted in two phases – the first phase will be on 13 December 2025 and the second phase will be on 11 April 2026 at 11:30 am. The result is expected to be declared by the end of March 2026 for summer zones and by May 2026 for winter zones.

As per the eligibility, the student should be studying in class 5 in the year 2025-26 and their date of birth should be between 1 May 2014 to 31 July 2016. The application process is completely free. Candidates must first visit the website and click on the link “JNVST Class VI Registration 2026”. After this, fill in all the required details, upload documents, preview the form and submit it. Finally take a printout of the form and keep it safe.
