The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) will close the KCET 2024 option entry window today, August 27, 2024. This is the last chance for candidates who qualified in the entrance exam and are participating in the counselling process to update their choices. To do so, candidates can log in to the official website, kea.kar.nic.in, using their registration number.

During the KCET option entry process, candidates need to select their preferred colleges and courses. The KEA will announce the KCET 2024 seat allotment results on September 1, 2024, based on the choices candidates submit. Those who are allotted seats must pay a confirmation fee and report in person to the assigned institute.

This year's counselling covers a wide range of courses, including Engineering, Architecture, Farm Science, Veterinary, Yoga & Naturopathy, B.Sc. (Nursing), B.Pharma, Pharm-D, as well as Medical, Dental, and AYUSH courses. With these additional options, a second round of mock seat allotment was conducted on August 22, 2024, and the results were published on August 25, 2024, on the KEA website.

Candidates had the opportunity to review the mock results and adjust their options as needed. Those who haven't yet entered their choices have until 11:00 AM today to do so. For detailed FAQs and more information, candidates should visit the official KEA website.
