According to H. Prasanna, Executive Director of the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), candidates whose KCET 2025 results were not declared due to errors in their registration numbers will be given the chance to upload their details online starting May 26, 2025.
The KCET 2025 results were officially declared on Saturday. However, several candidates submitted grievances stating that although they had passed the 2nd PUC/Class 12 exam last year, their KCET results were not displayed. In response, KEA released a formal press statement.
Earlier, KEA had announced that before publishing the KCET results, 2nd PUC/Class 12 marks would be directly obtained from the respective education boards, provided candidates entered the correct registration numbers. However, as Prasanna clarified, some students failed to input their registration numbers correctly, resulting in incomplete or unprocessed results.
To address this, KEA will activate an online link from May 26, where such candidates can enter their correct registration number, upload their 2nd PUC/Class 12 marks, and also submit a copy of their mark sheet.
Once KEA verifies and confirms the marks with the concerned boards, these candidates will be issued their spot ranks from May 29 onwards.
Importantly, candidates do not need to visit the KEA office in person to receive their spot ranks. Everything can be done online.
