The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) has announced the exam dates for Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026. As per the official schedule, the KCET 2026 exam will be held on April 23 and 24, 2026, in dual shifts. The registration process will begin from January 17, 2026.

Candidates who wish to appear for KCET 2026 can fill the application form on the official website cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The exam will be conducted in two sessions each day. This entrance test is mandatory for admission to engineering, medical, and other professional courses in Karnataka.

KEA will conduct the KCET 2026 exam over two days with dual shifts each day. Here's the complete exam schedule:

  •  Vijayapura
  •  Mangaluru

Candidates belonging to Horanadu and Gadinadu categories must appear for this test to claim reservation benefits.

KCET 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for KCET 2026:

For Engineering Courses:

  •  Must have passed 12th (PUC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics
  •  Minimum 45% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved categories)
  •  Must be a Karnataka domicile or meet eligibility as per KEA norms

For Medical Courses:

  •  Must have passed 12th (PUC) with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology
  •  Minimum 50% marks in aggregate (40% for reserved categories)
  •  Must qualify NEET for MBBS/BDS admissions
