The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has once again extended the registration deadline for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2026 to February 27. Eligible candidates can submit their KCET 2026 application forms through the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

As per the revised schedule, candidates can pay the KCET 2026 application fee until March 3, while the exam will be conducted by the Karnataka Examinations Authority on April 23 and 24 for the lakhs of students appearing for the exam.

According to the official notification released by the authorities, applicants who have already registered for the KCET 2026 exam can correct errors or other incorrect details in their application forms by logging into the application portal, if required.

Why was the KCET Exam Deadline Extended?

According to the latest information from KEA, approximately 315,713 students have completed their registration using their Aadhaar numbers. The registration deadline was previously extended to February 22nd, and the fee payment deadline to February 24th.

Following requests from many candidates, officials have extended both the registration and fee payment deadlines for student convenience.

Candidates can now complete their KCET 2026 application process until February 27th at 11:59 PM, while the last date for submitting the application fee is March 3rd at 5:30 PM.

KEA explained that this deadline was extended because many students requested more time to apply.

The authority conducts the KCET 2026 exam annually for admission to engineering, architecture, medical, and pharmacy programs offered by various institutions across the state.

Candidates who have not yet applied are advised to submit their forms and pay the required fees within this period, without waiting until the deadline. Officials have clarified that no further extensions will be granted under any circumstances.
